The robust device guarantees high precision. There is only one button to push for a few seconds. If there are 4 or more LEDs lightened the quality of the brake-fluid is okay.

Battery test:

Before using the tester run a self-test of the built-in 9 Volt block battery without putting the sensor in the brake fluid.

• Press the TEST button. All 10 LEDs should light up, otherwise the test result will be incorrect.
• In case of a deviation, replace the 9 Volt built-in battery by switching off the device and open the device by unscrewing the two Philips head screws.

Brake fluid test:

• Dip the sensor about 20 mm into the brake fluid.
• Press down the TEST button for 5 seconds.
• While you are testing a specific number of LEDs will light up. If four or more LEDs light up, the test result is satisfactory - the more LEDs light up, the better the condition of the brake fluid.
• If only three LEDs light up or less, the brake fluid needs to be changed.

Please clean the sensor after every brake fluid test with a clean, dry cloth. Do not let the brake fluid get into contact with skin or eyes.
