Not all wiring harness repairs require the need to exchange the complete connector. In some cases you are faced with only a few terminals being corroded and in need of replacement. In such cases you can save repair time when you only replace the non-functional leads .

With the right extraction tool, you simply unlatch the required leads from the new pigtail and pin these into the original connector housing. No crimping of terminals to leads is necessary.

All that is then left to do is connecting the leads to the loom with the crimping seals included in the wiring harness repair kit and the Ford approved crimping pliers and a heat gun.
