Wireless barcode scanner captures battery or module part number codes for improved input speed vs. manual entry

Easy to use wireless Bluetooth 2D scanner allows for fast capture and input of the battery module identification numbers into Ford xMB-9640 Module Balancer as well as capturing the 12V battery part number into the DCA-8000 Battery Management System. Saves time and effort by not having to manually type long strings of code into the tester or having to click through year, make, model information in the drop-down menu and thus prevents input errors.

The scanner comes with a magnetic charging cradle that safely secures scanner and base to top of the xMB, allowing safe and secure access to the scanner when required. Simply replace scanner when done into charging cradle and it will stay ready to scan the next vehicle.

The scanner is pre-configured for use with Midtronics equipment which includes a customized serial connector for connection of charger base to equipment. 

Capturing  VIN during service allows the tool to keep a record of service performed and provides a searchable database in the tool for pulling up past service records.
